Terms of use
Last updated: 21 May 2026.
RightTech is a portfolio project by Sam Mortimer. It is not a registered business, a regulated adviser, or a commercial software recommender. It exists to demonstrate what a useful, honest UK SME-tech site could look like.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it.
Tool names in the catalogue are fictional and stand in for real categories of UK SME software. Nothing on the site should be read as endorsement of, or comparison with, any real vendor. See How it works for the full explanation.
The quiz results, the 90-day plan and the AI walk-through are informational only. They are not financial, tax, legal, accounting or regulated business advice. Always do your own due diligence and consult a qualified professional before making business or financial decisions.
The AI walk-through is generated by a language model. It can be wrong, out of date, or miss the nuance of your specific situation. Treat it as a sensible starting point, not a finished answer.
RightTech is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sam Mortimer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including (but not limited to) lost profits, lost data, or business disruption.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded under UK law.
Please don't:
The site is a working portfolio piece — content, features and the catalogue may change without notice. We may also update these terms; the “last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
