RightTech is a portfolio project. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or business details. Your quiz answers stay in your browser and are only used to score the catalogue and (if you ask) generate an AI walk-through. We use Microsoft Clarity for analytics — but only after you agree.
RightTech is operated by Sam Mortimer as a portfolio project. The data controller is Sam Mortimer. Microsoft acts as a data processor for both the AI walk-through (via Azure AI Foundry) and analytics (via Microsoft Clarity).
For privacy questions or to make a data-rights request, email privacy@righttech.online.
Your answers to the 10-question quiz are stored in your browser's sessionStorage. They never leave your browser unless you ask for an AI walk-through, in which case they (and your shortlist) are sent to the AI service so it can write the prose. We do not retain or log them server-side.
If you accept analytics, Microsoft Clarity records:

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else. There are no affiliate, marketing or advertising trackers on the site.
Under UK GDPR you can:
Because we don't store personal data server-side, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser session and (if you previously accepted) withdrawing analytics consent below.
You can change your analytics choice at any time:
You'll also find a “Cookie preferences” link in the footer of every page.
Microsoft processes data in regions covered by UK GDPR adequacy arrangements and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Where data is transferred outside the UK, Microsoft's standard contractual clauses apply.
